August Update – Lots of activity in August and September starts off strong with 5 sales already (4 over $3m)

It’s Sept 10th and 13 places already went into escrow and 14 sold – High end luxury homes starting to sell more

• 28 sales – Sales of higher end homes over $2m going up – 9 sales (5 over $3m)

• 35 homes went into escrow which is strong (let’s see how many turn into sales in 2 months)

• Number of houses ‘for sale’ – 400 which is high for this time of year

• 50% of homes in escrow are distressed (short sale or foreclosed)
