About Sean McCracken
Thinking Locally. Acting Globally
After graduating with an MBA from USC, Sean had a clean slate for determining where he would live. Having grown up on the East Coast, he was ready for some permanent good weather, culture, business, and water.
After selecting Laguna Beach as his new home, he was immersed in art, waves, ecology, architecture and great people.
Using his innate and recently acquired business acumen he started, and worked for, real estate oriented software companies. From this position Sean traveled extensively and has seen and experienced many real estate cycles over the last 30 years.
From selling systems to major banks around the world during the construction boom in the 80’s to the creation of REITs in the 90s, Sean has come to understand the nature of real estate and people.
But one major thing was missing; he couldn’t execute his passion for community. Art, eco, surfing and people require a full time effort.
Consequently, he became a realtor and has immersed himself in both his job and community.
He’s combined his technology background with his ‘feet on the street’ community building to build one of the best groups of real estate cliental in the local area. He uses social media and tools, like video, to augment his extensive ‘eye ball to eye ball’ networking to communicate real estate opportunities as well as his whereabouts.
Sean has put on over 10 local eco conscious building events in the area, and was president of a nonprofit art association. Today he heads up the Transition Laguna Food Group building ‘victory’ gardens in people’s homes for health, community and local sustainability.
He also is a core member of the Laguna Sister City program, building relationships around the world with like minded cities.
Sean has truly combined his business and passions for what he considers an ideal lifestyle and only hopes that new and passionate people will join him on his quests.
